Närheten till vattnet har gjort Hallaryd till en naturlig mötesplats och är än i dag ett uppskattat område för fiske, friluftsliv, naturstigar och motionsslingor.
En levande by året runt
I Hallaryd bor cirka 150 personer året runt, med lika många i den omgivande landsbygden. Under sommaren fylls byn av sommargäster och turister som lockas av lugnet, naturen och den genuina småländska atmosfären. Hallaryd tillhör Älmhults kommun.
Aktiviteter för alla
Mitt i byn hittar du aktivitetsparken. Här finns lekplats, utegym boulebana och grillplats. En naturlig samlingsplats för både barn och vuxna.
Fortsätter du österut över bron kommer du till hembygdsparken. Här firas midsommar med dans runt midsommarstången och levande musik. I juni varje dag arrangeras den populära Hallarydsdagen. Annandag påsk arrangeras, Hallarydsloppet. Här finns två kyrkor, Hallaryds kyrka och Betelkyrkan i Hallaryd.
Utflykter, musik och sommarstämning
Hembygdsparken är också ett perfekt utflyktsmål. Slå dig ner med en picknick och njut av den rofyllda miljön vid Helge å. Under sommarmånaderna anordnas olika evenemang såsom allsång, spelmansstämmor och andra musikarrangemang som skapar en härlig sommarstämning.
Lokaler och dans till levande musik
För större och mindre sammankomster finns flera lokaler att hyra, bland annat Sockenstugan, Hallarydsgården och Hallaborg. I Hallaborg arrangeras det ibland dans till levande musik.

Kliv rakt in i 1800talet på vårt museum. Upplev den gamla handelsboden, skolsalen och träskomakarens verkstad.

Discover the charm of Hallaryd, a place where history, nature and living traditions come together. Nestled along the scenic Helge River has long made this area a natural place to settle. Today it is also a popular destination for nature trails, exercise loops, fishing and outdoor activities.
A Village Alive All Year Round
Around 150 people live year-round in the village of Hallaryd, with a similar number in the surrounding countryside. The village welcomes many seasonal residents and visitors who are drawn by the peaceful surroundings and genuine Småland atmosphere. Hallaryd is part of the municipality of Älmhult.
Activities for All
In the heart of the village you will find the activity park. The park offers a playground, an outdoor gym and a boules court.
Continue east across the bridge and you will arrive at the charming local heritage park. This is where Midsummer is celebrated and where the popular Hallaryd Day takes place every June. There are two churches, Hallaryd Church and Betel Church.
Excursions, Music and Summer Atmosphere
Bring a picnic and enjoy the tranquil setting by the Helge River in the Heritage Park. During the summer months, the park hosts a variety of events, including sing-alongs and traditional fiddlers’ gatherings, creating a warm and festive summer atmosphere.
Venues and Dancing to Live Music
Several venues in Hallaryd can be rented for both small and large gatherings, including the Sockenstugan, Hallarydsgården, and Hallaborg. At Hallaborg, you can sometimes enjoy dancing to live music.
