Discover the charm of Hallaryd, a place where history, nature and living traditions come together. Nestled along the scenic Helge River has long made this area a natural place to settle. Today it is also a popular destination for nature trails, exercise loops, fishing and outdoor activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Village Alive All Year Round<\/strong>
Around 150 people live year-round in the village of Hallaryd, with a similar number in the surrounding countryside. The village welcomes many seasonal residents and visitors who are drawn by the peaceful surroundings and genuine Sm\u00e5land atmosphere. Hallaryd is part of the municipality of \u00c4lmhult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities for All <\/strong>
In the heart of the village you will find the activity park. The park offers a playground, an outdoor gym and a boules court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continue east across the bridge and you will arrive at the charming local heritage park. This is where Midsummer is celebrated and where the popular Hallaryd Day takes place every June. There are two churches, Hallaryd Church and Betel Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excursions, Music and Summer Atmosphere<\/strong>
Bring a picnic and enjoy the tranquil setting by the Helge River in the Heritage Park. During the summer months, the park hosts a variety of events, including sing-alongs and traditional fiddlers\u2019 gatherings, creating a warm and festive summer atmosphere. \u00c5vallen is our legendary sports club\u2019s home ground, centrally located in the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Venues and Dancing to Live Music<\/strong>
Several venues in Hallaryd can be rented for both small and large gatherings, including the Sockenstugan, Hallarydsg\u00e5rden, and Hallaborg. At Hallaborg, you can sometimes enjoy dancing to live music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step straight into the 19th century and visit our museum. Explore the old shop, the schoolroom and the clog maker\u2019s workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
